A week of World Cup qualifiers bring the curtain down on the season this week, with England hoping to add six more points to their tally before the players can take a well earned break.

Fabio Capello’s men are expected to roll over a side they comfortably beat 5-1 at Wembley in October. However, they will need ensure complacency does not creep in. As Peter Crouch has asserted that it is a “trip into the unknown”, and a long one at that with the squad having to fly 3,500 miles to get there.
The long season has already taken its toll on England with David James, Aaron Lennon, Stewart Downing, Michael Carrick and Rio Ferdinand failing to make the trip. Capello will be hoping to ensure fatigue and injury does not creep in to the rest of the squad, especially with a game against Andorra to be played on Wednesday.
At the risk of tempting fate, it is difficult to see anything other than an England victory tomorrow. However, they will need to ensure their thoughts have not already turned to a summer on the beach when they take to the field.
Enjoy the game and let us know your thoughts on how events will transpire at the Central Stadium in Almaty.
