Prediction Game

If you haven’t already done so, it’s not too late to get involved with our new Premier League prediction game. Entering our league is simple, and if you sign up before the new season kicks off tomorrow then you could be a winner before the competition has even begun. We will select three entrants at random to win a copy of Fans United on DVD, but only from those who are in The Football Blog pool before the first game of the new season between Tottenham and Manchester City kicks off. To get involved, here is what you need to do:

1. Head over to our sister site SportGuru and, if you haven’t already done so, register to play
2. Join the Premier League tournament
3. Under ‘Pools’, click on ‘Join a pool’ and enter the following code: kalealum
4. You are now part of The Football Blog league and are ready to start making your predictions

Fantasy Football

It’s also not too late to sign up for a season of fantasy football competition, although you’ll have to be quick if you want your side to score some crucial Gameweek 1 points. Most will be familiar with the Fantasy Premier League format by now, so head over to the official site, select your team, and join The Football Blog league by entering league code 20959-7984. Make sure you read up on the new rules before you choose how to spend your £100 million. It’s a lot of fun, very competitive, and you’ll find yourself taking more interest in the injury status of Titus Bramble than you thought possible.

And Finally …

Keep coming back to The Football Blog for news and opinion throughout the season. We rely heavily on your input, so leave some comments on the articles to let us know your thoughts and give us some feedback as to what you’d like to see more of on the site. We are always on the look out for contributors to the blog as well, so if you think you’d like to write some articles for publication then drop us line, no matter how regularly you can contribute or what the subject matter (although obviously something football related would be a start).

Whoever you’re following and wherever you’re watching, enjoy the opening fixtures and the rest of the season ahead.
